6 Steps To Creating A Meal Plan Based On Your Macros

Creating a meal plan based on your macros doesn’t have to be challenging! These are the 6 steps and tips I have for creating your own customized meals with your recommended macro and calorie intake.

How to Create Your Own Meal Plan

Step 1: Come up with a list of your favorites meals and foods that you want to eat each day or week

Step 2: Use the grocery guide provided to you in your “welcome packet” to come up with additional meals

Step 3: Go into the app and start adding your meals in to see how this affects your total macros for the day

Step 4: Make sure, after all of your meals are planned out that you remain within 5 grams from each macro

Step 5: Once you’ve figured out your meals, you can play around with portions to add in “guilty pleasure” foods. Try to keep these meals at around 20% of your total diet.

Step 6: Save your meals into My Fitness Pal so you don’t have to add each ingredient every time! This saves time and makes things easier for tracking!
